Billie Eilish Uses Metal Band To Enhance The Appeal Of Her IG

Billie Eilish recently shared an Instagram story that caught the attention of her followers. The post featured Darkest Hour’s 2007 track ‘Demon(s)’ as Eilish appeared wearing an outfit that was inspired by the metalcore scene in Washington, DC.

The pop singer’s nod to the metal band came a few months before the release of their new album, ‘Perpetual | Terminal,’ on February 23.

Eilish shared her love for metalcore before by highlighting a track from It Dies Today with a similar post in August. She also got a shoutout from names like Rob Zombie and Type-O Negative for wearing a sewn-together shirt featuring their images in 2019.

Zombie commented on this crossover on Instagram, writing:

“Billie Eilish rocking another custom Zombie shirt. Rock on!”

Sharing Eilish’s photo on Facebook, Type-O Negative said:

“Billie Eilish is certainly a unique and bad-a** superstar who absolutely walks her own path. How awesome is it to see the Type-O support!”

In 2022, the pop artist was seen again on stage wearing a shirt that looked like a patch jacket featuring various underground metal and punk bands, as well as Motörhead and Misfits.
