In a recent sit-down with Classic Rock to discuss his latest solo album, ‘Man’s Wolf To A Man,’ Andy Taylor shared insights into his long music career.
When asked about any regrets over his career and life as a rock artist, the guitarist’s answer was a definitive ‘None.’ Still, he did have a past incident with Mötley Crüe’s Vince Neil to recall:
“I never had the weird, pervy, f**ked-up experiences that a lot of people talk about. The worst s**t was Vince Neil trying to fight me, and my bodyguards having to sort him out. He turned up with some f**king biker dudes, so they beat the s**t out of them as well, ha ha ha!”
Vince Neil’s Past With Physical Attacks And Disputes

Neil previously got in trouble for physical attack against fans twice. On one occasion, he threw a microphone at a fan during a concert. In another instance, back in 2016, he allegedly pulled a fan’s hair after she insisted on an autograph.
The singer also openly discussed his fights with other artists during his interviews. One of the more publicized disputes involved Guns N’ Roses’ Axl Rose.
The feud, which began after a physical altercation between Neil and Izzy Stradlin, grew when the Mötley Crüe vocalist invited Rose to settle their bad blood with a fight in an arena and on live TV.
What Has The Guitarist’s Career Been Lately?

In addition to the incident between him and Vince Neil, Andy Taylor also talked about his musical efforts.
After gaining fame with Duran Duran, Taylor left the band in 1986 but rejoined in 2001 for another five-year stint. Former band member kept a low profile for a while, stepping back from the music scene until a 2019 live show at London’s 100 Club. Recently, he joined Duran Duran again for their latest album, ‘Danse Macabre.’
On his solo career, Taylor shared:
“I suppose it’s having your cake and eating it, isn’t it? And I think I was more drawn towards doing production. Solo work is quite lonely, in one sense, particularly when you come from a band.”
‘Man’s Wolf To A Man’ marks the artist’s return since the release of ‘Thunder’ in 1987 and ‘Dangerous’ in 1990. You can hear it below.
