Aerosmith Announce Steven Tyler Won’t Be Able To Perform Remaining Las Vegas Dates

Steven Tyler has recently made the headlines with his health problems as Aerosmith have canceled their Las Vegas residency shows one by one. So, it might be fair to say it didn’t surprise anyone when the band recently announced via Twitter that they had canceled the remaining tour dates.
Previously, Aerosmith had announced the cancelation of their gig only hours before the show due to Tyler’s inability to perform. Still, the band had promised their fans that the frontman would be ready and well enough to take the stage for the next show. However, the performance in question was also canceled as Steven needed more time to rest. However, it sounds like the vocalist still hasn’t recovered, as the act recently canceled the rest of their Vegas dates.
“To all our fans,” said the band addressing their devoted fanbase who was looking forward to their shows, “we are sorry to announce we are canceling these last two Las Vegas shows. On the advice of doctors, Steven has to sit these out. Stay healthy, and we’ll see you in the new year.”
The act’s statement continued as they promised full refunds to any fan who planned to see Aerosmith live. They tweeted, “Tickets purchased through Ticketmaster will be automatically refunded. All other refunds will be available at point of purchase.”
The reason why Steven Tyler hasn’t been feeling well wasn’t disclosed. However, the singer’s struggle with addiction is publicly known, and one might only hope that his condition has nothing to do with a relapse. His battle with addiction has cost him a lot in the past. There was even one show where Tyler had faked passing out because he struggled to finish the show.
