Zakk Sabbath postponed their shows in Little Rock, Arkansas, and New Orleans, Louisiana due to Zakk Wylde’s voice issues.

“TONIGHT: POSTPONED. We are deeply sorry to announce that tonight’s show at The Fillmore New Orleans has been postponed,” the band wrote in a statement on Instagram. “Unfortunately, Zakk has lost his voice and, under medical advice, cannot perform tonight.”

They continued, “We want to ensure you experience the best possible show, and performing under these conditions would not meet the standards you deserve. We have rescheduled the date for Tuesday, January 14th. All tickets for tonight’s show will remain valid for the rescheduled date, so please hold onto them.”

“For those unable to attend the new date, refunds will be available at the point of purchase. We understand how disappointing this news is and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. Thank you for your understanding and patience. We love and appreciate you all and we will see you soon NOLA!” the group added.

The current Zakk Sabbath lineup includes Zakk Wylde, Black Label Society’s John ‘JD’ DeServio on bass, and Jeff Fabb on drums. Zakk Sabbath announced ‘Greatest Riffs,’ a digital collectio in Septembern. It celebrates Black Sabbath and their guitarist Tony Iommi. The collection features handpicked tracks honoring the band that shaped heavy metal.

Zakk Sabbath was formed by Wylde in 2014. They bring Black Sabbath’s music to life with live shows and recordings. “Going back to high-school keg parties, we’d be playing songs by Rush, Sabbath, [Jimi] Hendrix, whatever [in a cover band], and one person would sing the Rush stuff, someone could do the Doors, and I’d end up doing the Sabbath or Ozzy stuff,” Zakk told Rolling Stone about the band in 2020.

“It’s hilarious to me because we were 17 years old playing keg parties at a friend’s house and now I’m [57] years old and I’m still playing ‘N.I.B.’ and Sabbath songs at keg parties, except there’s a couple more people,” the rocker also shared.

After the end of the US leg, Zakk Sabbath will perform in the UK in March. Their UK tour will start on March 4 in Manchester. They will also play in different parts of Europe next year.
