Yungblud recently announced that he is canceling his remaining tour dates through the end of the year following medical advice. This announcement was shared on Facebook.

The artist revealed that after returning home from the road and undergoing routine tests, his voice and blood tests raised concerns. His doctor ordered a break from touring until the end of the year.

“This year has been truly unbelievable and I feel so lucky and honored from everything that has happened,” Yungblud said in his statement. “This week when I got home off the road, and went to have some tests done (like I usually do) and my voice and blood tests have raised some concerns. I have been ordered by my doctor to take a break from touring until the end of the year.”

The artist acknowledged his tendency to push himself to the limit. He emphasized the importance of following medical guidance this time.

“It is in my nature to run and run until I run myself to the ground without giving a f*ck about anything apart from the music and you guys but this time I’ve been told I have to take it seriously and I can’t f*ck around,” he continued.

The canceled shows include performances in Philadelphia, Cleveland, Washington, Mexico City, and Latin America. Yungblud expressed his commitment to making it up to fans once he recovers.

“I’m so sorry to do this. But reluctantly I have to cancel the shows through the end of the year,” he said. “My heart is broken. I don’t want to do any lasting damage to myself, we are on a journey that I want to last forever. I understand that some of you will be frustrated. I just want you to know that this is so hard for me to do but I promise I will make it up to you.”

The British rockstar’s decision to step back from performing reflects a serious commitment to his long-term health. Vice reported that Yungblud announced a break from touring for the remainder of 2025 due to health concerns. Routine voice and blood tests revealed concerning results that prompted the medical decision.

The primary health issue cited is related to his voice, prompting the need for rest and recovery. TMZ noted that all of his remaining tour dates for 2025 have been canceled as a result of the medical advice. This marks a significant shift for the artist, who is known for his high-energy performances and relentless touring schedule.

The decision underscores the physical toll that constant touring can take on performers. Vocalists particularly depend on their voice as their primary instrument. Loudwire documented that Yungblud emphasized the seriousness of the situation, stating he “can’t f*ck around” and doesn’t want to risk causing lasting damage to himself. This candid acknowledgment demonstrates his willingness to prioritize his health over commercial commitments.

The cancellation affects multiple major markets and regions, including North American cities and Latin American dates. This represents a substantial loss of revenue and fan engagement opportunities. However, Yungblud’s proactive approach to addressing health concerns sets an important precedent in an industry where artists often push through physical limitations to meet touring obligations.
