Wolfgang Van Halen Shares His Dream About AC/DC And Foo Fighters
Wolfgang Van Halen recently gave an interview to Terry Boyd’s World and revealed he has been dreaming of touring with AC/DC and Foo Fighters.
Following his father Eddie’s death and Van Halen’s disbandment, Wolfgang Van Halen formed his Mammoth WVH in 2020. On June 11, he released a debut solo album titled ‘Mammoth WVH.’ The well-acclaimed album received positive reviews from the critics and marked Wolfgang’s first step towards a career path of his own.
As you may know, Wolfgang’s band Mammoth WVH is currently touring with Guns N’ Roses as a supporting act. The tour was postponed by the pandemic before but kicked off on July 31 at the Hersheypark Stadium in Pennsylvania. However, Mammoth WVH canceled two performances on August 13 after a member of their touring personnel tested positive for coronavirus. After a short break, they resumed touring on August 19 in Los Angeles.
During his recent appearance on Terry Boyd’s World, Wolfgang revealed a dream of his. Asked if he has any plans to do following the tour with Guns N’ Roses, the musician said he has a dream of touring with AC/DC or Foo Fighters.
Talking about his possible future projects, Wolfgang Van Halen said in the interview that:
“The whole Guns thing is a dream. But if there are two others I have always said, to tour with AC\DC or Foo Fighters would be a dream just as what I’m living right now with Guns N’ Roses.”
Mammoth WVH’s tour as a support act for Guns N’ Roses is planned to conclude in early October with a two-night performance at the Hard Rock Live Arena in Hollywood, Florida. The band’s touring lineup includes Wolfgang Van Halen on guitar and lead vocals, Frank Sidoris on guitar, Ronnie Ficarro on bass, Jon Jourdan on guitar and vocals, and Garrett Whitlock on drums.
