In a new conversation with Ultimate Guitar, William DuVall hinted at new Alice In Chains projects coming next year.
“I know Alice [in Chains] has got some work we’re looking at doing next year,” the singer said of what to expect from 2025. “Some of it has been announced, but most of it hasn’t. But we’ll see.”
He went on to explain, “I think there’s going be more announcements forthcoming on that. I’m up for making more records and things, whether it’s my own, or other bands, I’d like to do that.”
The musician also talked about his new project, Chained Saint, saying, “Chained Saint might go back in the studio to do some things. That’s the great thing about a group like that is they have nothing else to think about. They’re not at that place yet where life starts getting in the way. All they gotta do is jam and write. So yeah, I think there’s gonna be more of all of it, man.”
“There’s a couple of things that we’re working on, like non-album related,” Jerry Cantrell also revealed to Loudwire Nights’ Chuck Armstrong. “We’re going to jump on a call [soon], we’ve got a few creative irons in the fire, but I’m at the very beginning of this cycle that I’ve committed to so I pretty much kind of keep my focus on this.”
Cantrell also spoke with ABC Audio about Alice In Chains’ upcoming plans. The guitarist explained, “There’s always something going on with Alice. We’ve got irons in the fire. We’ll announce things when it’s right to announce stuff. There’s plans to do sh*t. So stay tuned.”
One of these is a performance at May’s Sonic Temple festival in Columbus, Ohio. The band will also play at Welcome to Rockville on May 16. Cantrell will also be promoting his new solo album, ‘I Want Blood’ in North America next year. His tour starts on January 31 in Niagara Falls.
