New Lamb Of God Album Is On The Way, John Campbell Confirms

Lamb of God bassist John Campbell recently revealed in an interview with the RRBG podcast that fans can expect a new album from the band following their consistent cycle of recording and touring.

Campbell detailed the band’s approach to their music career, explaining:

“We’re gonna put out some records on the same rough schedule that we always do. We put out a record, tour the sh*t out of it, take a little time back, start working on another one, record it, tour the sh*t out of it. So, yeah, there’s definitely — we are still alive and kicking, and there will be more records. In the next five years, there will definitely be a new Lamb of God record. I don’t think I’m giving away any secrets with that.”

‘Omens’ And Its Aftermath

Lamb of God’s ninth studio album, ‘Omens,’ launched on October 7, 2022, setting the stage for a series of tours across North America and Europe. The band not only headlined their own shows but also supported Pantera on their North American reunion tour in the summer of 2023.

In October 2023, Lamb of God marked the first anniversary of ‘Omens’ with the release of a new single, ‘Evidence.’ Recorded during the sessions for their ninth album, ‘Evidence’ was accompanied by an official lyric video.

This summer, Lamb of God and Mastodon are set to embark on the Ashes of Leviathan tour, a co-headlining journey celebrating the 20th anniversary of their landmark albums ‘Ashes of the Wake’ and ‘Leviathan,’ respectively. The tour promises performances of these albums in their entirety, with support from notable artists like Kerry King and Malevolence and Unearth on select dates.
