The crazy rollercoaster of a journey in the music scene keeps getting better for Måneskin, and it doesn’t seem like there is no stopping the band. They are on a roll, to say the least, and the Grammy nominees recently released their album ‘Rush’ and were chosen by Mick Jagger to open for the Rolling Stones in Las Vegas. The pinch-me moments for the band are adding up, and Victoria de Angelis shared how it all happened while on Jimmy Fallon.

“Whatever. Maybe we can do it. Just another day, and it is just the music business,” jokingly responded the band members when asked how they reacted to getting a call that informed them that Mick Jagger had asked his crew to invite Måneskin to open their show in Las Vegas.

De Angelis continued, “It was in Vegas, yeah. Yeah, it was like our biggest, our first stadium, so it was crazy. And, also, it was iconic because we got the chance to talk to him, and he was so nice and knew a lot of our music and stuff. And then, we met Keith Richards, and he was like, ‘I don’t know who the f*ck you are, but they told me you’re good, so…’ We were like, ‘Okay.’”

Frontman Damiano added, “He said, ‘But you play real instruments, so keep going.’ And then he vanished.” As newbies in the industry, to be recognized by the greats was a significant milestone in their careers, and it seems clear that they got a kick out of it.

Ever since the Eurovision Song Contest 2021, Måneskin has been riding the highs of what can be achieved in the industry, and the cherry on top was definitely Mick Jagger having them be their opening act. It doesn’t get better than that, does it? By the way, if you are one of the few people who have yet to hear their new album ‘Rush,’ it’s one that you wouldn’t want to miss!
