Travis Barker’s son, Landon Barker is going in the same direction his father has been going with his almost 30 years of music career. Being a renowned rocker’s son, Landon owes his fame not only to his father but to Machine Gun Kelly as well.

During a recent interview with Variety, the rocker recalled the day his father came in while he was recording and adding a part to MGK’s and Landon’s song ‘Die In California,’ making him famous:

“I was in the studio, and he was recording with my dad in the other room. He walked in for a second and put down a little vocal track on how he would sing [‘Die in California’] if he was singing it, and I kept it in there and just posted it on TikTok — almost like something that I shouldn’t have done. Honestly, I don’t think I would be in the position I’m currently in right now if it wasn’t for ‘Die in California.'”

Landon recently released a single entitled ‘Friends With Your Ex,’ being released on his dad’s DTA Records label. The younger Barker acknowledged that people will judge whether it is good or bad, so he decides not to go too far with reading the comments about the song but instead looking for the people who are moved by his music.
