Range Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello shared an Instagram post on his official account to praise Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters for his fearless and dangerous performance on Tuesday night in Los Angeles. Roger Waters shared Tom Morello’s words about his performance on his social media account.
Roger Waters was finally able to hit the road this past summer after the pandemic that delayed his ‘This is Not a Drill’ tour for two years. The setlist that consists of 20 classic Pink Floyd tracks that fans know and love, with a few solo songs across two sets, is accompanied by a fiery performance by the singer. The tour has been a success for the singer as he plans to tour Europe in the spring and summer of 2023, spanning over 14 European countries and 40 shows.
Waters’ performed in Los Angeles as part of the ‘This is Not a Drill’ tour. One of the famous faces that showed up to support the singer was the Range Against The Machine’s Tom Morello. After the stunning show, Morello took to Instagram to share a photograph with the singer and a few words to express his admiration for Waters’s stage performance.
The guitarist wrote that the show was stirring, uncompromising and fearless. He praised Waters for pulling off a show that was what people needed in dangerous times like these. Morello added that he appreciated the musician for sharing his political opinions and not being afraid to say them out loud. He also congratulated the artistic director Sean Evans for his outstanding work on the show.
