Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello has announced his first solo rock album, Everyone Gets Everything They Want. It is set for release on September 25, 2026, via Mom + Pop Music. The announcement also comes in the wake of Morello recently losing his mother, Mary Morello.
Morello took to social media to share the news directly with fans, revealing both the album’s release date and the arrival of its first single.
“BREAKING: My new album, Everyone Gets Everything They Want, comes out on September 25th! Pre-save the album and pre-order vinyl and merch now through the link in bio,” Morello said. “Until then, ‘DATE NIGHT’ is out NOW!”
Everyone Gets Everything They Want features a 12-track tracklist with notable collaborations. Morello enlisted System of a Down’s Serj Tankian, Irish rap group Kneecap, metalcore band Beartooth, and his own son, Roman Morello. The record is produced by Smyth Carl Rest, Dan Carey, and Sam Harris, bringing a diverse sonic palette to the project.
The lead single, “Date Night,” carries significant emotional and historical weight. The song tells the true story of three Dutch teenage girls who resisted the Nazis during World War II. It reflects Morello’s long-standing commitment to anti-fascist themes in his music. “Date Night” was co-written by Morello and his son Roman, making it a deeply personal entry point into the album.
Prior to “Date Night,” Morello had already released “Adjourn It,” a track featuring both Serj Tankian and Roman Morello. The full tracklist also includes “Beth From Electronics,” “Unconquered” featuring Kneecap, “Everything Burns” featuring Beartooth, and the closing track “They Can’t Kill Us All.”
With Everyone Gets Everything They Want, Morello steps fully into solo rock territory for the first time. The album channels personal loss, political conviction, and family legacy into a single cohesive statement. It is available for pre-order now, with special-edition colored vinyl and exclusive merchandise bundles offered through his official store.
