Twisted Sister has announced their first live shows featuring Sebastian Bach on vocals. This marks a significant development for the band as reported by Instagram.
The announcement comes after Dee Snider had to step down from the band’s tour due to health struggles. Sebastian Bach now takes over vocal duties for their upcoming performances.
“The wait is over! We are thrilled to announce our first shows for Fall 2026 featuring Jay Jay French, Eddie Ojeda and lead vocalist Sebastian Bach,” the band stated in their announcement.
The shows are scheduled for Fall 2026. They represent a new chapter for the iconic metal band with their new lineup configuration.
This announcement follows a series of significant changes for the legendary heavy metal band. Ultimate Classic Rock reported that Twisted Sister originally planned a 50th anniversary reunion tour in September 2025, marking their return to the road 10 years after retiring. However, the band was forced to scrap those plans due to Dee Snider’s “health challenges,” which prompted his “sudden and unexpected resignation” from the band.
The band has now revealed specific dates for their comeback tour with Bach. Blabbermouth detailed that the four confirmed shows include September 4 at Palmer, Alaska’s Borealis Theatre during the Alaska State Fair, September 12 at Durant, Oklahoma’s Choctaw Grand Theatre, October 8 at Niagara Falls, Ontario’s OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino, and October 12 at Windsor, Ontario’s The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor.
The new lineup will feature Bach on vocals alongside original members Jay Jay French and Eddie Ojeda on guitars. Russell Pzütto replaces Mark “The Animal” Mendoza on bass and Joe Franco takes over drumming duties. Metal Injection noted that the band performed a three-song set at their announcement event, including classic tracks “You Can’t Stop Rock ‘N’ Roll,” “Under The Blade,” and their signature anthem “We’re Not Gonna Take It.”
The band has emphasized that these appearances will not interfere with Sebastian Bach’s existing solo career commitments. The collaboration represents a significant moment for both Bach, known for his work with Skid Row, and Twisted Sister as they continue their legacy with a new frontman while honoring their decades-long contribution to heavy metal music.
