It has been known that Anthony Kiedis has been romantically linked with notable figures such as Ione Skye, Hope Sandoval from Mazzy Star, Sinead O’Connor, Sofia Coppola, and Mel C from the Spice Girls. However, he also had another intense relationship with a worldwide-known supermodel.
As the story goes, Kiedis and Heidi Klum were briefly involved romantically following Klum’s divorce in 2002. Their relationship received little public attention, and even though it didn’t last long, they still had a significant moment in their lives together.
Years after their short-lived romance ended, the Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman discussed it during a 2016 interview with Press Portal, saying:
“The time with Heidi is one of the most beautiful memories in my life. The hottest woman in the world was my girlfriend, and that made me really proud. I saw her and immediately fell in love with her.”
The singer further detailed their relationship and admiration for the supermodel:
“I was at that time a selfish a**; Heidi had just come from a broken marriage. A man can be happy with a woman like her at his side. She is not only beautiful but also intelligent, a successful businesswoman, and a great mother. I was, and I am still, a big fan of her.”
Later, Klum expressed her appreciation for Kiedis’ kind words about her during a conversation with People, explaining:
“Obviously, it’s very nice when you still get along with your ex in a way or someone you have dated in the past. And you know, we had a very special time together. I never really thought that anyone knew anything about that. It’s funny that he brings it up after so many years.”
The rocker was last seen with Marina Mazepa, a 25-year-old contortionist from America’s Got Talent. They were spotted dining outdoors and taking a stroll together in Los Angeles. Klum, on the other hand, has been married to Tokio Hotel guitarist Tom Kaulitz since February 2019.
