Poison and the Rockett Mafia’s Rikki Rockett commented on the BulletBoys reunion announcement in a statement shared on X (formerly Twitter).
The BulletBoys revealed reunion plans with an official announcement posted on the band’s Instagram account.
The announcement read, “So, they say Pigs can’t fly?? Hmmm? Well, they just did!!!! Marq [Torien], Mick [Sweda], Lonnie [Vencent], Jimmy [D’Anda]. We’ll see all y’all at Arcada Theatre this weekend with our brothers Warrant. We have reunited for all of Fans, Friends, and Family!! Happy Holidays’s Everyone!!!”
Rikki Rockett reacted to the reunion announcement. His statement addressed concerns about Mick Sweda’s involvement with both the BulletBoys and the Rockett Mafia. It clarified the musician’s intentions moving forward.
“Yes, of course I know about this for those of you asking,” Rockett said. “Mick is desirous to continue with The Rockett Mafia, he assured me.”
Rockett emphasized his support for Sweda’s potential success with the reuniting band. He added a note of encouragement for the guitarist’s future endeavors.
“If, however, he finds success and happiness again with The Bullet Boys, I’ll be the first to cheer him on!” he continued.
The reunion marks a significant moment for the classic rock band. Mick Sweda has officially rejoined BulletBoys’ classic lineup, which includes Marq Torien on vocals, Lonnie Vencent on bass, and Jimmy D’Anda on drums. This marks a full classic lineup reunion for live performances, as reported by Blabbermouth.
The band’s first show with the reunited lineup is scheduled for December 20, 2025, at The Vault in Saginaw, Michigan. A second performance is planned for December 28, 2025, at Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood, California. The reunion comes after the band’s previous full lineup disbanded around January 2022, when both Sweda and D’Anda exited the group.
This reunion is particularly noteworthy given Sweda’s previous statements about the band. Reports indicate that Sweda had previously stated he would “never do anything with BulletBoys again.” This reconciliation represents a surprising turn of events for longtime fans of the classic rock outfit.
The announcement of the reunion was confirmed through social media posts around mid-December 2025. Band members shared photos and audio clips that signaled the official return of the classic lineup. Sweda’s decision to rejoin the BulletBoys while maintaining his commitment to the Rockett Mafia demonstrates his ability to balance multiple musical projects. This commitment reflects his dedication to both bands and their respective fan bases.
