A new building in Turkey, crowned with a large Metallica logo, has become a topic of interest on Instagram and Reddit.

The use of the band’s logo on top of a building in Turkey sparked some comments, as a rock/metal fan page shared its photo on social media and revealed that a construction company named Nirvana was responsible for it. The account’s post read:

“This image is from Mersin [a city in Turkey]! Nirvana Construction, Metallica building! That’s so good! Imagine you ring the bell, and ‘Master Of Puppets’ starts playing!”

The Post Brought Along The Jokes

As the picture spread on the Internet, fans, especially on Reddit, got into a playful chat in the comments, making puns and references to Metallica’s music.

Some of the puns read: ‘Renter Sandman,’ ‘Rent ‘Em All,’ ‘For Whom The (Door)Bell Tolls,’ and ‘Phantom Landlord.’

Fans Referenced The Band’s History

Others nodded to Metallica’s history, with one person referring to the band’s rivalry with Megadeth:

“Open some Megadeth apartments across the street.”

Someone else replied to this with a quote that read:
