The Eagles have announced additional concert dates for 2027, expanding their residency at Sphere. The news comes after band member Don Henley suggested that their 2026 performances could be their last.
The announcement confirmed four new shows added to the residency. The total run now stands at 72 performances, making it the longest-running residency at the venue.
“Due to overwhelming demand, four additional shows — Friday, January 15, Saturday, January 16, Friday, January 22, Saturday, January 23 — have been added to Eagles – Live in Concert at Sphere, the longest-running residency at the revolutionary venue with 72 shows in total,” the band announced.
The expansion is notable given Henley’s earlier remarks about the group’s future. He had previously reflected on the possibility of the 2026 shows being a farewell.
“I think this will probably be it,” Henley said. “I feel like we’re getting toward the end, and that will be fine, too.”
Despite those comments, overwhelming fan demand has led the band to extend their run into 2027 with four additional dates.
The January 2027 additions are the latest chapter in a residency that has repeatedly outpaced its own expectations. It first launched at Sphere on September 20, 2024.
What began as a finite run has grown show by show through a series of demand-driven extensions. Earlier in 2026, the band added six fall dates spanning September, November, and December. Four more December shows followed, pushing the total to 68 before the latest announcement brought it to 72.
Tickets for the new January dates start at $175 with all-in pricing. General sale opens August 14 at 10 a.m. PT, with presale registration already open.
The residency has firmly established the Eagles as Sphere’s longest-running act. The venue opened in Las Vegas in 2023 and was designed for large-scale immersive productions. The Eagles’ run has since become the benchmark for what a sustained residency at the space can look like.
Henley’s earlier words have hung over the residency as a quiet counterpoint to its commercial momentum. The band has not walked back those remarks. The tension between a possible farewell and continued fan demand has defined much of the conversation around the run. For now, the Eagles are staying on stage — at least through January 2027.
