In a recently gone viral video, the Tenacious D singer Jack Black is seen singing Taylor Swift half naked.
On October 27 Wednesday night, at the Give Back-ular Spectacular fundraiser event for film and TV crew members affected by the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike, the rocker stripped down and asked the audience for song requests. In the fan-shared video, the rocker is seen rejecting one song for ‘being in a strike’ but accepting the next one and saying:
“But I know that one. Everyone knows that f*cking song.”
The Moment of the Performance
With only his underwear and socks left, the ‘School of Rock’ actor started singing the Taylor Swift hit, ‘Anti-Hero.’ The crowd cheered louder when they heard the song, after which Black lost track of the lyrics and sang gibberish with the same tune. The rocker even danced while singing the song.
The rocker jokingly told an audience member that it wasn’t necessary to record the moment on their phone, but the video ended up on social media platforms anyway.
The Give Back-ular Spectacular was organized to raise funds for the crew members impacted by the current strikes. The organization shut down the production of most Hollywood movies and series, which eventually raised over 500,000 dollars.
