Alice Cooper Reveals The Band Whom He Aspires To Create Music Like
‘The Godfather of Shock Rock’ Alice Cooper shared a post on his official Twitter page revealing an interview in which he reveals the band he wants to make music like in addition to opening up about his brand new album, ‘Detroit Stories.’
As many of you know, Alice Cooper announced that he is going to release his 21st solo studio album which is titled, ‘Detroit Stories’ back in November 2020. The album is going to be released on February 26, 2021, and it was, obviously, inspired by Cooper’s hometown which is Detroit.
During a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Alice Cooper opened up about his upcoming album and revealed that Detroit is the home of hard rock, according to him since the city is known for the punk rock band Iggy and the Stooges, the MC5, and finally Alice Cooper.
Recently, Alice Cooper shared a post on his official Twitter page revealing his interview to his fans in addition to stressing the part when he unveils the band he admires when it comes to real rock and roll. Apparently, Cooper wants to make music like AC/DC since they are pure and genuine rock and roll according to Cooper.
Here is what Cooper said:
“This one, I said, ‘I want to do a real rock & roll album; real AC/DC-type, pure rock & roll.'”
