Ted Nugent’s wife, Shemane Nugent, has extended an invitation to rock legend Sammy Hagar to discuss his alleged alien encounter experiences. This was revealed in a recent post on Instagram.

Shemane Nugent expressed her interest in connecting with Hagar about his previous claims of extraterrestrial contact during what appears to be a discussion about inviting him to her show.

“I gotta talk to Sammy Hagar. I’m gonna tell Ted, give me his number. I’m gonna call him,” she said. “Because Sammy Hagar had that song in 1975 that he is, and I’ve seen videos, interviews that Sammy said he was abducted by aliens. And there’s that song. I can’t remember what the name of it is. You know what I’m talking about, right?”

Hagar has previously been open about his alleged alien encounter. He described the experience in detail during a 2011 interview with MTVhive.

“It was real. Aliens were plugged into me. It was a download situation. This was long before computers or any kind of wireless. There weren’t even wireless telephones,” Hagar stated in that interview. “Looking back now, it was like, ‘Fuck, they downloaded something into me!’ Or they uploaded something from my brain, like an experiment. ‘See what this guy knows.'”

The invitation appears to be for Shemane’s “Faith and Freedom” show. She hopes to explore Hagar’s extraterrestrial claims in greater detail there.

Hagar’s alien encounter claims have been a recurring topic throughout his career. The rock star has provided consistent details about the incident across multiple interviews and publications over the years.

CBS News reported that Hagar first detailed the incident in his 2011 memoir “Red: My Uncensored Life in Rock.” He claimed the experience occurred around 1967 when he was approximately 18 years old. The former Van Halen frontman has maintained that the encounter was not a dream but a real experience that left a lasting impact on him.

In more recent interviews, Audacy noted that Hagar reiterated his claims. He described how the incident happened at 4 a.m. while he was in a deep sleep, feeling like he was “being programmed” during the encounter. He emphasized that this occurred long before wireless technology existed, making the experience even more mysterious to him.

The rock legend has also expanded on his supernatural experiences beyond alien encounters. YouTube interviews showed that Hagar has discussed experiences with ghosts and what he describes as “the 9th dimension.” This suggests that his openness to paranormal phenomena extends beyond his alleged alien abduction.

Hagar’s willingness to discuss these experiences publicly has made him a notable figure in both rock music and UFO communities. His claims have gained renewed attention as public interest in extraterrestrial phenomena continues to grow.
