In a 2004 phone-in interview on ‘The Howard Stern Show’ Courtney Love claimed that she was 12 years old when she had oral sex was with Ted Nugent. The Hole singer appeared on the show once again in 2013 and corrected herself that she was actually 14 when it happened.
During an episode of ‘The Nightly Nuge’ Nugent debunked the allegations that have been made against him by Love. The rocker explained:
“I’ve never met Courtney Love. Why? Well, we all know why she would lie like that, because she’s been so stoned and so brain dead for so long. I’ve never met her. I have proof that I didn’t have any relationship with Courtney Love because I have both of my arms and I’ve never had rabies.”
Ted also brought up the claims that were made against Courtney regarding her use of heroin whilst she was pregnant. He added:
“The point being is that she’s a horrible human being. She was on heroin while she was pregnant now that allegedly she did heroin but she is a a horrible, horrible human being because she dedicated her life to being uncomfortably dumb with the drugs and the alcohol abuse even while she was pregnant with her child.”
The singer went to clarify that he wasn’t involved with any underage girls. Ted continued:
“But why she would… again I don’t care why because she has no mind, she has no soul. I’ve never met the woman. I have no desire to meet the woman. I’ve never had a relationship with an underage girl except when I was underage. These kinds of allegations are so cruel so false so hateful.”
Even though Nugent has denied Courtney’s cliams against him, the incident would have occurred two years before Nugent released ‘Jailbait.’ His infamous song that was written about his attraction to a young girl with lyrics that went; “Well, I don’t care if you’re just thirteen / You look too good to be true.”
