Ted Nugent Files $1.5 Million Lawsuit Over Their Life-Threatening House

Shemane Nugent recently posted on her Instagram to announce that she and Ted Nugent are suing their homebuilder, who caused the Nugent family to suffer from life-threatening consequences.

Back at the beginning of the 2000s, the Nugents’ dream home in Michigan caused the family to be poisoned by toxic mold. The house was full of several types of molds, and the Nugent family ended up experiencing fatigue, difficulty in breathing, symptoms that resemble flu, and short-term memory loss.

However, it was Shemane Nugent who was most affected by the poisoning. She was rushed to the hospital several times due to migraines and heart attack-like symptoms, but doctors couldn’t find a logical cause. Moreover, it took years to diagnose Shemane and figure out what happened to her.

Earlier in 2022, the Nugents even released a documentary titled ‘Killer House,’ which tells the story of how their lovely home turned into being something that threatened their lives and almost killed Shemane. In a recent Instagram post, Shemane revealed that she and Ted Nugent are finally suing their Waco custom homebuilder.

In the post, Shemane said they had no choice but to sue the homebuilder as they started seeing this incident too often. She then said their homebuilder wasn’t honest and conscientious, and this house cost them hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Shemane Nugent’s Instagram post read:

“Well… We never wanted it to come to this, but we had no choice. Sadly, we see this happen all too often. While I’m sure there are some good quality, conscientious and honest builders out there, we didn’t have one. As a result, it cost us hundreds of thousands of dollars in repairs, heartache, and life-threatening illnesses. What’s worse, this isn’t the first time. We lost our home that was once featured on MTV Cribs to toxic mold. My family & I got sick and almost died.

On the other hand, Ted Nugent told KWTX after filing the suit that they were extremely let down to see that Texans would lie and scam their fellow Texans and build an unhealthy and dangerous home. Nugents filed the lawsuit on April 1, and they are currently seeking unspecified damages in their case against Sorrells & Co. LLC.

Ted Nugent told KWTX the following:

“We are extremely let down that Texans would lie, cheat and scam their fellow Texans, break their word and build an inferior, unhealthy, dangerous home.
