As reported by Consequence on Twitter, Foo Fighters’ late drummer Taylor Hawkins’ son Shane Hawkins played the drums on ‘My Hero’ to pay homage to his father at the recent tribute concert.

Taylor Hawkins tragically passed away on March 25, 2022, in Bogotá, Colombia, at 50. Foo Fighters were on tour in South America when the drummer’s untimely death occurred. After Hawkins’ heartbreaking passing, Foo Fighters decided to organize a two-leg tribute concert. Shane Hawkins, the 16-year-old son of the late Foo Fighters drummer, joined the band on stage to play drums for the hit track, ‘My Hero‘ during the first show of the ‘Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert’ at London’s Wembley Stadium on Saturday.
