Steven Tyler Announces His Upcoming Charity Show With Miley Cyrus

Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler shared a post on his official Instagram account and announced that Miley Cyrus will give an exceptional performance at his fourth annual Grammy Awards Viewing Party that will take place on April 3.
In 1989, Aerosmith released their powerful and touchy song, ‘Janie’s Got a Gun,’ which drew attention to child abuse. It heavily inspired Steven Tyler to start a charity named ‘Janie’s Fund‘ in partnership with Youth Villages. It mainly aims to aid and bring hope to girls who have been victims of neglect and abuse. The organization also aims to raise more awareness on these issues.
Steven Tyler annually organizes Grammy Awards Viewing Party to raise money for the foundation. The event generally features many important names, who give unforgettable performances on stage. The third one was held in 2020 but was then interrupted by the ongoing pandemic. The fourth party will finally take on April 3, 2022.
It was initially planned for January 31, but it had to be postponed due to the government’s COVID-19 regulations. According to Tyler’s announcement on Instagram, the event will finally take place at the Hollywood Palladium and feature Miley Cyrus. The event will also include celebrities like Elton John, Sharon Stone, Jim Carrey, and Lionel Richie, who will serve as the event chairs.
Steven Tyler’s Instagram post read:
“It’s been two long years since our last Janie’s Fund, but we’re back in 2022 at a new historic location with the best event chairs and a special performance by Miley Cyrus. Join me on April 3, 2022. Tickets are available on Janie’s Fund’s website!”
The fans gathered under the post and stated they can’t wait for that special night. They described the announcement as wonderful news and expressed their excitement. Although some of the fans wrote that they would prefer another female rocker instead of Miley Cyrus, the comments were generally favorable.
