Spiritbox singer Courtney LaPlante revealed why the band doesn’t do meet and greets.

The vocalist responded to a fan after she asked her fans on X to ask her anything about their upcoming album, ‘Tsunami Sea.’ The fan asked, “When are you gonna announce that US headlining tour WITH A MEET AND GREET?”

“No meet and greet, I go on extreme vocal rest during a tour of that length,” LaPlante replied.

The band recently announced an upcoming new album called ‘Tsunami Sea.’ To tease the fans, they released another new single from the album.

When it comes to what we know about the album so far, LaPlante shared a bunch of new information while responding to fan tweets. When asked about the title of their upcoming album, LaPlante explained why they chose ‘Tsunami Sea’ instead of just ‘Tsunami.’ She said, “One is a single wave or series of waves, one is the metaphor of an ocean entirely made up of the tsunamis.”

A fan also asked if the band would experiment with new genres or revisit their past sound. LaPlante simply responded, “I think so.”

Another fan asked about the inspiration for the album’s cover art. “It is our island, a place we always wanted to leave but it longs for us to stay,” she replied.

Another fan pointed out the symbols connected to each song on the album. LaPlante credited their artist, Kevin, for creating the symbols after listening to the music.

The band’s next show is scheduled to take place in São Paulo, Brazil on November 30.
