Slipknot Invites Fans To A Concert They’ll Co-Headline With Megadeth, Lamb Of God And Faith No More

Slipknot recently posted a photo on their official Instagram account and announced that will finally be able to bring back their annual music event Knotfest which will take place in September, while revealing that they’ll co-headline with some of the best in the metal scene.

As you know, Slipknot was founded back in 1995 by bassist Paul Gray, percussionist Shawn Crahan, and drummer Joey Jordison. In just a few years the band achieved mainstream success, and their fame kept increasing despite their several line-up changes.

In 2012, the band brought to life their first annual music festival named Knotfest during which names like Deftones, Lamb of God, and Serj Tankian got on stage. Fans were excitedly expecting to see if the festival would take place this year or be postponed due to Covid-19 regulations.

With their recent post, Slipknot announced that they cannot wait to perform for their fans after a long break in this year’s Knotfest Iowa 2021. The event will take place on September 25, and starting today, ‘Knotfest members will have first access to pre-sale tickets at $79‘ and general on-sale tickets will be available on Friday for $99.

What is even more exciting is that Slipknot will share the stage with some of the biggest names in the metal scene, such as Megadeth, Faith No More, Lamb of God, Gojira, Fever 333, Trivium, and many more.

Here’s what Slipknot said in the caption of their post:
