Skid Row Announce Show Cancelation Due To Erik Grönwall’s Health Problems

In an unexpected turn of events, Skid Row unveiled some bad news on their official Instagram page. Their upcoming Brisbane performance was suddenly off the cards, and the cancellation was brought about by Erik Grönwall‘s health-related concerns.

In the post they shared, the band gave details about the vocalist’s condition and explained how it affected his voice, interfering with their concert plans. Also, mentioning the other upcoming shows that were scheduled to take place after Brisbane, the band went on to apologize to their fans.

Their announcement read:

“To Skid Row faithful,

Unfortunately, we have to cancel our sold-out show in Brisbane tonight. This morning, Erik woke up feeling sick, and by sound check, he was losing his voice and was feeling the effects of a full-blown flu.

He will see a doctor first thing tomorrow and expects that it will be all systems go for Sydney, Adelaide, and Melbourne. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and want you to know we are as disappointed as all of you.”

Skid Row was amidst the Australian leg of their global tour when this unforeseen incident took place. The band’s plans were to take the stage across Europe after wrapping up their performances in Australia. However, with Grönwall’s current health condition, the future course of the tour remains uncertain.
