Rapper Rome Fortune posted a photo with the former Slipknot DJ and keyboardist from the studio. The photo suggests the two are collaborating on new music, coming not long after Wilson’s firing brought an end to his 30-year run with the band.

The caption of the post offered a brief, cryptic hint about the session.

“v0mit face,” Rome Fortune wrote in the caption of his post.

The post quickly drew reactions from Slipknot fans expressing support for Wilson. One commenter wrote, “Sid we F*CKING LOVE YOU whatever you work on it we will be ready to receive it.” Another added, “Sid you’re the man, I am praying you find peace in this turmoil.”

The studio session comes against the backdrop of a turbulent stretch for Wilson. This context helps explain both the timing of the new project and the caption that accompanied it.

Slipknot’s split with Wilson was a permanent firing rather than a mutual departure. The band later confirmed the decision through an official statement. It said it was “no longer” associated with him and wished him well in his future endeavors.

The firing also followed closely on the heels of another major life change for Wilson. His engagement to Kelly Osbourne reportedly ended in March 2026, months before Slipknot let him go. The former couple share a son named Sidney.

The caption on Rome Fortune’s post takes on added meaning in light of Wilson’s own business ventures. Wilson founded Vomit Face Records in October of last year. The “v0mit face” caption appears to directly reference that label, suggesting Rome Fortune may now be working under it.

Taken together, these developments paint a picture of Wilson using the studio session as both a creative outlet and a signal that he is already building something new. The fallout from his Slipknot exit and personal life continues to draw attention.

No further details about the project have been released. Updates are expected as more information becomes available.
