Slipknot’s Sid Wilson has made his first public appearance since his breakup with fiancée Kelly Osbourne. This was revealed in a new studio collaboration shared on Instagram.
The musician was spotted working on a new project with artist Scrufizzer. Scrufizzer documented their studio session in a social media post.
“I never imagined I’d be in the studio with Sid Wilson from Slipknot blending grime with rock & roll,” Scrufizzer wrote in the caption of his photo with Wilson. “Absolutely unreal! Big thanks to Kid Bookie for bringing us together.”
The collaboration marks Wilson’s return to the public eye following his recent split from Kelly Osbourne. The studio session appears to be exploring a fusion of grime and rock genres.
Wilson’s personal life has been in the spotlight recently. He and Osbourne had been together since early 2022 and share a three-year-old son named Sidney. The couple got engaged backstage at Ozzy Osbourne’s retirement show in Birmingham in July 2025. This made their split last month particularly notable given their recent engagement.
Wilson has remained active with Slipknot during this period. Chaoszine reported that the band is releasing their long-awaited melodic album “Look Outside Your Window” for Record Store Day. The album features 2008 session recordings by Wilson and his bandmates. The project represents a different side of the typically heavy metal group.
Wilson has also been reflecting on the band’s history. He recently paid tribute to late drummer Joey Jordison. Louder Sound noted that Wilson spoke highly of Jordison during a recent interview, honoring the drummer who died in July 2021.
The band continues to evolve with new members. Vice revealed that Wilson has praised current drummer Eloy Casagrande, formerly of Sepultura. He maintains that Jordison was “the best” drummer the band ever had.
Wilson’s studio work with Scrufizzer suggests he’s channeling his creative energy into new musical ventures as he navigates this personal transition period.
