Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon Osbourne once tried marriage counseling, but it did not work.
In a new interview with Mirror, Sharon shared her experience with counseling. As it seems, one of the reasons includes her husband’s inappropriate behaviors. Sharon said that she knew about Ozzy’s behaviors even before marrying him:
“I knew what he was before I married him. But in my youth, being naive, I thought, ‘I can change Ozzy. He won’t drink when he’s with me. I’ll make him a nice home and nest and we’ll be happy ever after.’ But that’s not real life. I knew what he was. I knew he had addictions and I took it on. We can’t go for a wee without each other. It’s ridiculous.”
Sharon then explained how Ozzy’s ‘no-filter’ conversations with others cause him trouble, including his home nurse:
“He’s always been inappropriate with women. We have a nurse at home, quite a large Russian lady, and she bent over him and he goes, ‘Tell me, did you breastfeed your kids?’ And I’m like, ‘You cannot say those things now. The world today is different, you cannot talk to a woman like that, you can get into trouble.’ He goes, ‘But for what?’ There’s no filter at all. He’s got Tourette’s with the truth. It just comes out.”
The Couple Almost Broke Up

The couple has been married for more than 40 years. During these years, they faced challenges like drug addiction, threats of violence, decades of touring, and a TV show.
Recently, Sharon revealed that Ozzy’s four-year affair with hairdresser Michelle Pugh. The affair almost destroyed their relationship. The incident was one of the hardest times the two faced, but they have since resolved their issues. Although the couple had issues in the past, they plan to return to the UK soon. Sharon mentioned the possibility on Celebrity Big Brother earlier this month.
Additionally, Ozzy expressed his desire for at least another decade together with Sharon in an episode of ‘The Osbournes’ podcast. Sharon also shared that she believes the couple would go on for another 20 years.
Ozzy mentioned their pact during the chat:
“We’ve made a pact. Whoever passes away first will wait for the other on the other side.”
