Sebastian Bach sat down with AXS TV to chat about his favorite albums of all time. Among the albums he picked, there was also Rush’s ‘Exit… Stage Left.’

“I was talking to you about Max Webster, and since we’re talking about vinyl, I know Rush has millions of fans deservedly so,” the singer said before recommending another band to Rush fans, “but all you Rush fans are missing out if you don’t know about this other band called Max Webster from Toronto, Canada that recorded a song with Rush called ‘Battle Scar,’ together. I’m just trying to turn all the rush fans on to Max Webster.”

Bach’s love for Max Webster isn’t limited to only this interview. Two years ago, the rocker shared some underrated bands in his opinion and named Max Webster. “They’re a Canadian band. Kim Mitchell was the vocalist. They have a huge body of work, like seven or eight albums,” he introduced the band. “And one of them, ‘A Million Vacations,’ is one of the best-sounding records I own. I always play it on my hi-fi audio system. It sounds so good on that – I don’t know why, but it just does!”

He then revealed the band’s connection to Rush: “They used to play with Rush all the time. There’s actually a song called ‘Battle Scar,’ which is on the record [1980’s] Universal Juveniles, and it’s a team-up between Rush and Max Webster. So it’s Geddy [Lee] singing with Kim Mitchell, and Neil Peart drumming with Kim Mitchell’s drummer, and they all play together.”

He finished with, “I guarantee you this – if anybody of you reading this goes and listens to the song ‘Battles Scar,’ you will thank me later!”

Sebastian Bach has a show scheduled to take place on May 3 in Fargo, North Dakota.
