Sebastian Bach Calls Out Elon Musk For Targeting His Credibility

Sebastian Bach recently faced a sanction from Twitter, losing his verified account’s blue checkmark. The rocker, already angry at the platform, tweeted about it and discreetly slammed Elon Musk. This is not the first time he has faced a problem on the platform, and it looks like it won’t be the last.

Elon Musk bought Twitter last year in April, and since his reign, he has faced a backlash against his control over the platform. He stated that his intentions were aiming to encourage free speech, make Twitter an open space, and fight spam accounts. Now that he is in charge and an active Twitter user, many people get in touch with him regarding rules that don’t make sense.

Rockstars have also reacted and have been getting in touch with him over Twitter to state their concerns regarding the platform. Sebastian Bach is also an active Twitter user and recently complained about the following limit the platform puts on users. He said he wanted to follow everyone who bought tickets to his concert but was hit with a following limit. Following this event, the singer had his verification sign removed.

Bach tweeted about this, saying:

“For my birthday, Elon Musk took away my blue checkmark. But he can’t take away my pride.”

According to Twitter’s Terms of Service, a verification sign can be gained by using certain guidelines, and a breach of these guidelines can result in the removal of the blue checkmark. We don’t know how Bach’s check’s removal would be justified, but it could be that he changed something on his profile, such as his profile picture, biography, banner, or any other design that put him under suspicion. This checkmark can also disappear if the user violates Twitter rules in their tweets.
