Tommy Lee Says ‘You’ll Be Hearing Something From Me’ And Gives A Date For His New Song

Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee spoke in a recent interview with VOA Music and talked about his new project as well as Crüe’s thoughts about a new album.

As you might recall, Tommy Lee released his third studio album in October 2020, Andro, and he collaborated with over ten musicians for his album, such as Post Malone, Tyla Yaweh, Killveinc, and many more.

In the conversation, Tommy revealed that Crüe members won’t take the new album idea seriously and said that it won’t happen in near future. While saying that, he also unveiled that he is working on a new song.

Moreover, Tommy said that he started work on a Christmas song a couple of months ago in South California, but due to the heat, he couldn’t feel the vibe to write the song. Because of that, he postponed the project for next Christmas.

Here is what Tommy Lee said:

“That’s funny. I don’t think the dudes in the Crüe would be down with that. But I… It’s funny you mention that, because I am working — and I can’t tell you the title yet — but I’m working on.

I started working on a Christmas song a couple of months ago. And it was, like, crazy hot here — we were having, like, a heatwave; it was 104 or 102. And I was here in the studio, and the air conditioning was blasting, and I just wasn’t in the Christmas vibe.

And I went, ‘Okay, I got it going, but I’m gonna put this on hold.’ And so coming up now, during the holidays, I’m gonna get back to work on it. So next Christmas, you’ll be hearing something from me.”
