Scott Weiland’s son Noah recently shared a post on his official Instagram account and expressed that if something were to happen to him, people might portray him negatively or as the person at fault.

The singer started his words by sharing his feeling of being overwhelmed and isolated, writing:

“Sometimes it really does feel like it’s me against the world. I mean, whether it’s family members disowning you, so-called ‘friends,’ fake narratives, fake people, more people who claim to be my brother trying to sleep with my significant other, more witches trying to hex me (& I’m Catholic), more people I have to perform self-defense on, ‘industry’ phonies who ‘want me to win’ but steal the swerve.”

A Plea For Understanding

He continued, reflecting on his wish for a break from these challenges:

“Please… Just Please… Give a buddy a break. That’s all I’m asking for… And I know you’re probably thinking, why the hell am I saying this, but it’s fine because if I die (God forbid), then you all can point the finger and say, ‘He was the bad guy,’ but at least you’ll know why.”

At the end of his post, Weiland also revealed that his new song, ‘Yesterday,’ will be out next week on November 24. As he opened up before in several interviews and social media posts, Noah struggled with drug addiction and some personal problems in recent years. In January 2023, he disclosed that he had been sober for a while.

Noah’s Journey To Sobriety

Later, he also released a song named ‘Good Riddance & Goodbye,’ where he talked about moving on from a significant relationship that was affected by his past substance use. In an Instagram post he shared in September, Noah reflected on his past two years, noting:

“Life works in crazy ways. The last two years of my life have been the most exhausting, heartbreaking, confusing times I’ve ever experienced… I battled every day whether I was fighting to stay sober, keeping a dead relationship alive, cutting off fake f*ck ass people, struggling to make money, or even have a place to sleep at night.”

Weiland also conveyed that his life has improved significantly. He mentioned helping others in recovery and that this is the longest period he has stayed away from substances that were problematic for him. As he said before, Slash was one of his supporters during this challenging period.
