Sammy Hagar Shows The Photo Of His Last Guitar Lesson From Eddie Van Halen

Former Van Halen frontman Sammy Hagar shared a post on his official Instagram page asking his fans about the last time they were being educated by Van Halen’s late guitarist Eddie Van Halen in addition to revealing a picture of the time when Eddie was teaching him.

As many of you know, Sammy Hagar started to work with Van Halen as lead guitarist after the departure of former frontman David Lee Roth in 1985 until an internal disaccord in 1996. During Hagar’s presence as frontman, Van Halen released numerous chart hits, and fans referred to the band as ‘Van Hagar.’

Recently, Sammy Hagar shared a picture on his official Instagram page revealing the time when Eddie Van Halen was teaching him how to play guitar on stage. In addition to unveiling such a magical moment, Hagar also asked his fans about the last time they had a guitar lesson from the legendary guitarist.

His fans poured comments under his post revealing all those times when Eddie Van Halen was doing a podcast or an interview about playing guitar was the closest they could ever get to learning a guitar lesson from the iconic guitarist himself. A fan even shared a hilarious comment making fun of Hagar’s statement and luck by stating that it never happened.

As many of you know, Eddie Van Halen passed away at the age of 65 due to a stroke which was caused by throat cancer on October 6, 2020. By the time Eddie was gone, he was surrounded by his wife Janie, son Wolfgang, ex-wife Valerie, and brother Alex.
