Sammy Hagar has shared his first message following his recent UK performances. He expressed both exhaustion and gratitude in a post on Instagram.
The rock legend performed with his Best of All Worlds band. He opened up about the physical toll of the shows while reflecting on the overwhelming response from British fans.
“Well, I had a reporter stopped me when I was walking into the hotel and asked me what I thought about coming back to England after all these years and how I felt about the performance,” Hagar said. “And I told him what I’m telling you. My ass is kicked [laughs]. The time change, the long shows, the wonderful f*cking response was off the charts from fans. I gave it all. I’m happy. Tired. I have a day off tomorrow. I’m gonna get into this city.”
Despite the fatigue, Hagar made clear his deep affection for the city and its fans.
“Wonderful city. London, one of my favorites on the planet,” he continued. “But yeah, I feel really good. Really good. Like the postman, we delivered. Thank you London, thank you England, thank you Great Britain, whatever you wanna call yourselves. You f*cking rock.”
The message came after Hagar wrapped up his England dates with the Best of All Worlds band. The shows clearly left a mark on both the performer and his audience.
The UK leg was part of the Best of All Worlds Tour 2026. The tour brought Hagar and his band to multiple cities across Great Britain and drew strong demand throughout its run.
One of the headline London dates took place at the British Airways ARC. The choice of venue underscored the level of demand Hagar’s live shows continue to generate in the British market.
Hagar’s return to England after a lengthy absence clearly resonated with fans, who turned out in force. The energy in the room, as Hagar described it, was a reminder of the enduring connection between the veteran rocker and his British audience — one that showed no signs of fading.
