Sammy Hagar revealed the future of his Vegas residencies in a new post on Instagram. The former Van Halen singer posted after his 20th show at Park MGM Vegas with his Best of All Worlds band. He also said whether he will continue the residencies next year.

The caption of the post reflected on the end of the run.

“All good things must come to an end,” Hagar wrote. “Tonight is our 20th show Park MGM Vegas, some of the best and most fun shows ever. Thank you.”

A fan then asked Hagar, “No more residencies?”

Hagar answered the question directly.

“Never say never,” he responded, “but nothing next year at this time.”

His answer puts a pause on one of the busiest stretches of his recent career. The residency has become a regular part of his schedule. The latest dates show how the run came together.

The shows took place at Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas. The fall leg ran for five performances on September 18, 19, 23, 25 and 26. The final night fell on Saturday, September 26, at 8:00 PM, and it closed the 2026 run.

The band behind Hagar features some of rock’s best-known players. Michael Anthony plays bass, Joe Satriani plays guitar and Kenny Aronoff plays drums. Nathan Mercado handles keyboards. Aronoff replaced Jason Bonham on drums, and Mercado took over keyboards as the lineup changed. Bonham still made a surprise guest appearance at a recent U.K. show. He joined the band for Led Zeppelin’s “Rock and Roll.”

The Las Vegas shows also used a setlist billed as new and exclusive to the engagement. That gave fans a different experience from the band’s touring dates.
