Joe Satriani didn’t join Sammy Hagar and the rest of the band in their most recent show.

In a new Instagram video, the Red Rocker shared a video from his private jet, on their way to the Scottsdale show. In the video, however, all members except for Satriani were seen having a good time.

A user asked, “Where’s Sach?”

“He’s busy, Vic [Johnson]’s got it covered tonight,” Hagar responded. The comments came only a few months after Jason Bonham was ‘let go’ from the band. Naturally, a fan thought Satriani might be next. “Satch got snatched, apparently,” a user commented in response.

In November, Bonham revealed that he left the band with a comment in one of his social media posts. “Sammy has decided to carry on with Kenny, so sadly [I won’t be returning to the tour],” he wrote.

Bonham was absent from the final few shows of the tour because of his mother’s health issues. He left Sammy Hagar’s Best of All Worlds tour in late August. Hagar had mentioned that Bonham would return to the lineup when he could, but Aronoff became a permanent member after the Japanese dates.

After his departure, Hagar shared why they were happier with Aronoff in an interview. “Yeah, and that’s why he is still in the band. That’s why we’re moving forward with him. There’s two reasons. Number one, he’s one of the greatest drummers on the planet. I think he’s been on more million-selling records than any musician in the world. And he did so well on this tour, and he plays with Joe on a full-time basis.”

“Keeping this ‘Best of All Worlds’ band together is difficult when you got Jason doing his thing, you got Joe doing his thing, you got Mike and I. We need our beach time and our taco nights, Taco Tuesdays and stuff. Trying to get it together, it really helps by having Kenny’s schedule be with Joe. If Joe’s available, Kenny’s available, and it’s not trying to put pieces together,” Hagar added.

Bonham will take place in the Rock Legends Cruise on February 13.
