Sammy Hagar Admits He Uses The Live Shows To Promote His Business Ventures

The Circle frontman Sammy Hagar joined an interview with Bar Business Magazine in which he explained why he promotes his liquor brands during his famous parties and live shows that take place in several locations.

Mostly known as the former frontman of iconic rock group Van Halen, Sammy Hagar is currently focusing on his musical career with Chickenfoot and The Circle. Besides, the musician is also an entrepreneur who showed the world that he is also successful in other ventures than music.

As a businessman, Sammy Hagar founded a tequila brand as well as a restaurant known as Cabo Wabo. He also occasionally performs at his restaurant and celebrates his birthdays with his ‘Birthday Bashes.’ More recently, Hagar launched his Beach Bar Cocktail Co. on September 22 with a rooftop performance.

According to his statement during an interview with Bar Business Magazine, Hagar uses his live shows and parties to promote his brands since it is a less expensive way to promote a business. The musician told the magazine that he cannot compete with other businesses which spend $10 to $20 million a year for promoting. Hagar then said that for that reason, he promotes his brands by throwing parties, going on tours, and performing live in the venues.

In the interview by Bar Business Magazine, Sammy Hagar stated that:

“There’s a lot of competition out there. I know a lot of these other guys are spending $10 to $20 million a year promoting. I can’t compete with that. So what do I do? I throw a party, I go on tour, I play for my fans, and I put it in the venues. That’s the way I make my noise, and I can compete that way.”

As you might know, Sammy Hagar’s rooftop performance in September was a free concert. So, it seems this was a great way of promoting his brand since everyone could attend the show.
