Ronnie Radke recently took to Twitter to express his criticism towards Slipknot and Falling In Reverse fans following their show at Rock Fest in Cadott, Wisconsin.
Referring to the crowd in Cadott, the frontman wrote:
“Fans are always allowed to criticize bands, their music, and performance. It’s time for bands to criticize crowds. Cadott, Wisconsin, was boring as hell. Lol. What are some cities you band dudes hate playing cause you know the crowds are lame?”
A response criticized Radke for complaining about a large crowd waiting for him in the rain, saying:
“Standing in the rain and thunderstorm, and you bitch that there was a huge crowd waiting for you. Maybe you need to bring your game up and learn to put a show on instead of being a little diva. Very pathetic! Get out the business if you can’t work a crowd and bring their energy up.”
The singer stood firm in his opinion and also drew Slipknot into the conversation, responding:
“No, the crowd f*cking sucked, even for Slipknot. Just admit it. Hahahaha.”
Another reply recalled an incident where Ronnie allegedly insulted the crowd, stating:
“You called the crowd lazy pieces of sh*t. Then went on to sing ‘All Star’ by Smash Mouth. Sit the f*ck down. No wonder why the crowd didn’t f*cking like you.”
The rocker defended his inclusion of ‘All Star,’ writing:
“I do that at every show; that’s part of the show. Cadott, Wisconsin, must’ve been full of cheese curds last night. I’ll go back to my arena tour where they go the f*ck off. Keep the cheese curds and hay stacks.”
Another comment said:
“If your energy and Slipknot’s energy didn’t get that crowd going, it must’ve been bad! Even on my worst day, the second either of you two bands start, I can’t help but feel that sh*t and move!”
Radke responded:
“Slipknot was awesome, but the crowd just stood there looking at them, no emotion. Laughable crowd, honestly.”
Falling In Reverse are currently on tour with Ice Nine Kills. Dubbed The Popular Monstour, it will wrap up on July 30 in Redding, California. You can check out the remaining dates here.
