Ronnie Radke recently voiced his opinion on the state of hardcore music, criticizing the new wave of bands and their fans in a post on X.

The Falling In Reverse frontman shared his thoughts on the evolution of the hardcore genre, expressing disappointment with the current scene:

“I find it hilarious that the new hardcore kids are all a bunch of bitch made soft a** communist d*ck riders with pronouns in their bio reciting lyrics from bands talking about how tough they are and how violent they are. Hardcore used to be cool. It is not cool anymore.”

Fan Reactions To The Vocalist’s Words

The response to Radke’s statement varied widely among the music community. One fan noted:

“‘Hardcore’ has always required authenticity, and the people without any have always stood out. There’s just a lot more of them now.”

Another added:

“These losers have absolutely neutered hardcore. Even funnier when they act like their ‘sticking it to the man’ yet many of the most powerful people in the world favor their positions.”

Yet, another defended the genre’s current state, saying:

“Hardcore is still cool. People suck, always have. Literally, nothing has changed except our access to people via social media. This is how it’s always been.”

Recent Feuds Of Radke

Radke’s critique extends beyond hardcore into the death metal scene. He recently engaged in a public dispute with Sanguisugabogg’s frontman, Devin Swank. The singer accused the band of avoiding a direct confrontation, leading to a heated exchange on social media. He posted:

“Hey guys, why won’t you come off your bus? I want to talk to you. Why are you threatening to call the police? I thought you were a trained fighter; I just wanna talk. Devin, why are you hiding?”

Following the initial accusation, Radke continued:

“Like I said, y’all death metal dudes are soft as sh*t. Stop playing with me.”

This feud saw both parties exchanging insults, with Ronnie challenging the band to a physical altercation and later offering them an opportunity to open for Falling In Reverse. The situation escalated as both sides shared their grievances publicly, with Swank expressing a desire to step back from the feud to spend time with his family.
