Falling In Reverse frontman Ronnie Radke recently responded to a controversial comment from a Fall Out Boy fan regarding guitarist Joe Trohman’s injury. He addressed the situation in a post shared on X (formerly Twitter).

The response came after a Fall Out Boy fan made a harsh comment following news of Trohman’s injury. The injury will prevent him from participating in the band’s tour this year.

“Take all of Joe’s pain, double it, and give it to Ronnie Radke,” the fan wrote in reaction to Trohman’s injury announcement.

Radke fired back with his own pointed response to the comment.

“The absolute ugliest f*cking people, I swear,” Radke said.

This exchange highlights the broader context surrounding Trohman’s current health situation and its impact on Fall Out Boy’s touring schedule.

Q101 reported that Trohman revealed that, after years of managing ongoing issues with his right hand, surgery was necessary to avoid permanent damage. The guitarist will be sidelined for the rest of the year but remains optimistic about a full recovery.

Despite Trohman’s absence, American Songwriter confirmed that Fall Out Boy plans to honor all scheduled tour dates. The band has not announced an official replacement for Trohman during his recovery period.

This is not the first time Trohman has stepped away temporarily from the band. Loudwire noted that in 2023, he took a break to focus on his mental health after experiencing burnout from the pressures of touring and recording.

The incident underscores the ongoing tensions within rock music fan communities. It highlights the challenges musicians face when balancing health concerns with career demands. Trohman’s situation has sparked discussions about the physical toll of extensive touring on artists.
