Falling In Reverse frontman Ronnie Radke recently took to X to take a jab at fans of Metallica and AC/DC criticizing his band.
The vocalist shared the album covers of Metallica’s ‘Ride the Lightning,’ ‘Silver Side Up’ by Nickelback,’ Architects’ ‘All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us,’ and ‘Highway to Hell’ by AC/DC, and humorously wrote from the perspective of a random fan:
“Your bands’ songs all sound the same; you’ve written the same song over and over. Falling In Reverse sucks anyways. Here are my favorite bands and albums of all time.”
Mixed Views On Radke’s Humor

The users on the platform gathered under the comment section of Radke’s post to share their thoughts. While some agreed with his point, others suggested excluding some of the albums and bands he mentioned. One of them wrote, supporting Falling In Reverse:
“They must’ve listened to one FiR song twice and assumed that that was everything there was.”
Another fan said, disagreeing with the singer’s words to some degree:
“Nickelback slaps lowkey, though. Lol, I will agree a lot of songs from AC/DC and Metallica sound the same.”
Harsher Criticism Of Radke From Some Users

There were also those who approached the issue from a harsher perspective. A user strongly criticized Radke, writing:
“Each of these albums was a great success for the respective band. Something you will never achieve. Because in addition to catchy melodies and good songwriting, long-term success also includes things like integrity, continuity & empathy.”
Ronnie’s History Of Public Feuds

Considering his previous public feuds with Sebastian Bach and Slipknot, Ronnie’s verbal attacks on these other bands shouldn’t come as a surprise. Last year, Falling In Reverse faced criticism for canceling a September show because they lost their laptops with their show materials. Radke mentioned Bach among musicians who use backing tracks, leading to a dispute between them. The singer discussed the issue in an interview with WRIF, saying:
“I stand my ground, and I stand by what I believe in; he was so rude; he’s rude. But you know, I’m not going to name them, but some pretty prominent people in music direct messaged me. That made me feel a lot better. I don’t want to call them out because, you know what I mean, but they’re on my side.”
More recently, during an argument with a user again on X, the frontman mocked the user’s musical preferences and claimed that bands like Metallica used backing tracks.
