Ronnie Radke has defended Marilyn Manson in a recent video response. He criticized those who have turned against the controversial musician. The Falling in Reverse frontman shared his comments in a video posted on TikTok.
Radke’s statement addressed the investigation into Marilyn Manson. He criticized what he sees as unfair treatment of the artist.
“Years long investigation (against Marilyn Manson) dropped,” Radke said. “Do you understand what that f*cking means? That means that many years of investigation could never find any evidence.”
He continued his defense by claiming insider knowledge. He also criticized broader social attitudes.
“And there’s way more to the story that I know that you don’t,” he continued. “So, your parasocialness is showing and it’s an insult to women alike. Because all you’re doing is perpetuating this nonsensical idea that ‘men bad, women need to be saved.'”
Radke concluded by placing responsibility on fans and society for Manson’s rise and subsequent controversies.
“You’re the one that made Marilyn Manson,” he said. “You made Marilyn Manson famous in America. You guys created him and then you try to destroy him.”
The video was posted as a response to criticism directed at Marilyn Manson on social media.
Radke’s defense of Manson comes amid a period of renewed collaboration between the two controversial rock figures. This highlights their growing professional and personal relationship.
Revolver Magazine reported that Radke and Manson have recently teamed up on a new Falling in Reverse song titled “God Is a Weapon.” This marks a significant musical collaboration between the two artists. This partnership has strengthened their bond and provided context for Radke’s public defense of the veteran rocker.
The relationship between the two musicians has become increasingly visible in recent months. YouTube documented that Radke attended Manson’s 56th birthday party. They appeared to share a strong connection despite their controversial histories. This public display of friendship has sparked speculation about future collaborations and tours between the polarizing figures.
Marilyn Manson, whose real name is Brian Hugh Warner, has been a significant figure in rock music since founding his band in 1989. Wikipedia noted that Manson is known for his provocative stage persona and hits like “The Beautiful People” and “The Dope Show.” He has earned platinum albums and Grammy nominations throughout his career. Despite facing scrutiny and multiple allegations over the years, he has maintained a notable influence on the rock and metal scenes.
The timing of Radke’s defense coincides with ongoing discussions about accountability in the music industry. It also relates to the treatment of controversial artists. Both musicians have faced their own legal and public relations challenges. This makes their alliance particularly noteworthy within the rock community.
