Ringo Starr Cancels The Rest Of His Tour Due To Health Concerns

The Beatles drummer Ringo Starr took to his official Instagram account to announce the cancellation of the rest of his North American tour due to testing positive for Covid once again.

Ringo and his All Starr band have not had the best of luck with their 30th-anniversary world tour, as most dates were canceled due to Covid-19. After the restrictions were eased this year, the Beatle returned to touring with his band. However, Covid once again disrupted the tour that was supposed to be a celebration with his fans.

This isn’t the first time the drummer had to cancel his tour dates because of Covid. Starr had previously canceled several dates in various US states, including Michigan and Minnesota, and Canada, after testing positive for Covid. However, after his recovery, he was back on the road to resume the tour, but the drummer recently tested positive once again.

In his Instagram post, Starr expressed how shocked he was that he contracted Covid again, as he has barely recovered from the last round. He added that the tour’s remaining dates were canceled and signed off the post with his trademark ‘peace and love’ to show appreciation for fans who have stuck around to support him for decades.

Ringo Starr’s IG post read:

“I’m sure you’ll be as surprised as I was. I tested positive again for Covid. The rest of the tour is off. I send you peace and love, Ringo.”
