Rikki Rockett recently addressed questions about Mick Sweda’s potential return to the BulletBoys and its impact on the Rockett Mafia. He shared his thoughts in a statement posted on Facebook.

The statement clarified Sweda’s intentions regarding both bands. It also outlined the Rockett Mafia’s upcoming plans.

“Been getting questions about Mick re-joining the BulletBoys and what that means for Rockett Mafia,” Rockett said. “Mick is desirous to continue on with The Mob. If anything changes, I’ll report asap. I support Mick’s return to the BB as this was his baby for many years. Either way, Rockett Mafia is a force this coming year and here’s why…”

Rockett went on to detail the band’s immediate plans and upcoming projects.

“We are starting to book shows and look forward to some amazing dates,” he continued. “This is the first week back it as our agent is busy mapping out some cool stuff. We are also planning an EP. Writing songs, etc. There will be originals and maybe a cover or two on the EP. Hope to knock it out very soon!”

Rockett’s statement comes amid significant developments in the BulletBoys’ lineup history. It marks another chapter in the band’s ongoing reunion efforts.

The BulletBoys’ classic lineup reunion was officially announced on December 16, 2025. Blabbermouth reported that the reunion brought together Marq Torien, Mick Sweda, Lonnie Vencent, and Jimmy D’Anda. This reunion followed D’Anda’s return to the band, which was announced on October 13, 2025. He posted on his Facebook page about rejoining the group.

The latest reunion represents a significant turnaround for Sweda, who had previously exited a BulletBoys reunion in January 2022. Blabbermouth noted that Sweda wanted to secure his portion of the BulletBoys name before agreeing to the latest reunion. This indicates that previous issues between band members have been resolved.

The guitarist’s change of heart is particularly notable given his previous stance on the matter. YouTube interviews revealed that Sweda had stated just six months ago that he was done with the band for good. This makes his return all the more surprising to fans and industry observers.

The statement provides clarity on both Sweda’s dual commitments and the Rockett Mafia’s continued momentum for 2026. It demonstrates that the guitarist intends to balance his involvement in both projects moving forward.
