In his recent post on X, Richie Sambora sent positive vibes to Bruce Springsteen amid health issues, which caused the singer to postpone his upcoming shows.
When one of his fans shared a picture of him and Springsteen and wrote about the Boss’ health struggle, the guitarist reposted the message and said:
“God bless you, brother… You will be back. Thank you for all you’ve given us. Take care, Richie.”
On September 7, E Street Band used their official X account to announce the postponement of their forthcoming September concerts and continued to disclose the lead singer’s state of health, saying:
“Mr. Springsteen is being treated for symptoms of peptic ulcer disease, and the decision of his medical advisors is that he should postpone the remainder of his September shows.”
They also featured a message directly from Springsteen, stating:
“Over here on E Street, we’re heartbroken to have to postpone these shows. First, apologies to our fabulous Philly fans, who we missed a few weeks ago. We’ll be back to pick these shows up and then some. Thank you for your understanding and support. We’ve been having a blast at our U.S. shows, and we’re looking forward to more great times. We’ll be back soon. Love and God bless all, Bruce.”
Springsteen and E Street Band will be back on stage with their Vancouver, BC concert on November 3. They initiated their 2023 tour in February in Tampa, Florida. After touring around the world for three months, they commenced the second North American leg of the tour in August.
