Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band were in the middle of their international tour when an unexpected incident occurred. As shared first by Consequence’s Twitter page, the lead vocalist of the band tripped and fell on stage during their performance at the Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam.

The video of the event showed Springsteen trying to climb the stage steps while engrossed in playing ‘Ghosts.’ However, his guitar got in the way, and he stumbled. His band members quickly came to his aid, helping him back up. Seemingly unfazed by the fall, the singer continued the performance and even lightened the mood of the worried fans.

Addressing the crowd before getting back into the performance, he humorously shouted:

“Good night, everybody!”

This wasn’t The Boss’ first on-stage incident. A TMZ report from early 2023 detailed another mishap during a performance in Atlanta. While performing one of his famous rock star moves, Springsteen accidentally hit his tech, Kevin Buell, on the head with a flying guitar. Buell luckily didn’t suffer any severe injuries from the incident.

After confirming his tech was unharmed, the vocalist even lightened the moment with a jest, saying:

“One man down.”
