Red Hot Chili Peppers Announce Their Upcoming Tour With The Guitarist John Frusciante

The members of Red Hot Chili Peppers recently announced their upcoming tour with their new guitarist John Frusciante in a funny but informing video.

Red Hot Chili Peppers announced in an Instagram post that they parted ways with their then guitarist Josh Klinghoffer in December 2020. Following that, they revealed the return of their former guitarist John Frusciante. The reason why Klinghoffer was abruptly fired from the band was that the members wanted Frusciante back. Nevertheless, there were no hard feelings between the Klinghoffer and the other band members because the guitarist knew that Frusciante belonged to Red Hot Chili Peppers.

While Klinghoffer announced his tour with Pearl Jam, Frusciante returned to RHCP and started to produce new music with them. In a recent video on Instagram, Anthony Kiedis and Flea dressed up as news anchors and started to present some daily news including things that don’t make sense. The band’s drummer Chad Smith appeared as a weatherman in the video after Kiedis and Flea finished with the news. Following that, Frusciante joined them in the newsroom and announced their upcoming tour dates. According to what he said, their world tour will begin in June 2022, while the US dates start from July.

This is how Frusciante announced the upcoming world tour in the video:

“Yeah, we’re gonna do a tour starting in June 2022.

Kiedis and Flea screamed as they learned the news, and Chad Smith told John that:

“I apologize for my colleagues, they’re very excited about this news. This is wonderful. Is it an all-over-the-world tour?”

John then responded to him:

“Yep, all over the world.”

Chad continued the conversation humorously and asked him about the US dates:

“Wow. I’d say I love your type of rock music. It’s wonderful. I listen to it all the time at home with my cats. Hey, are you going to play in the US as well?”

Here is how John responded regarding the US dates:

“Yes, the US dates will start from the July of 2022.

The fans enjoyed the small act the band put out there to announce their upcoming tour. As you may know, the tour will mark the first time Red Hot Chili Peppers perform on stage after the return of Frusciante. Besides, the fans know that the band will reach out to their glory days with the guitarist.
