After Lizzo shared a part of her performance singing Rammstein‘s song, ‘Du Hast,’ the band counteracted her gesture on social media. They reposted a video of Lizzo’s performance as an Instagram story on their official account.
Lizzo recently took the stage in Berlin and treated her fans to a piece of a Rammstein cover. The singer shared footage of the show on her Instagram page with a short caption written in German expressing her love for her fans.
In the caption, she wrote:
“Ich liebe dich Berlin.”
Her post received many reactions from the public, one of which came directly from Rammstein. The band nodded back to the singer by resharing her video on their Instagram story. Their positive gesture was backed by the fans in the comments section of the post.
Appreciating her take on the song and her performance, a fan wrote:
“I’m a massive Rammstein fan, but it is so cool to see a completely different kind of artist appreciating this kind of music and putting their own spin on it. The only thing that would make it even better would be if Lizzo had played the keyboard solo on her flute.”
And another fan expressed their opinion as follows:
